Immigration New Zealand have announced they will apply the same expiry date extension of employer-assisted work visas made in July 2020 to the partner and dependants of the principal visa holder if their visa would have expired from 17 August to 31 December 2020.
INZ will email visa holders or their advisers by Tuesday 25th August to confirm the visa extension.
The extension does not apply if the partner or dependent child submitted a new visa application and have been granted an interim visa. In this instance, they may withdraw their application and request a refund, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
