Are your skills in demand?

Is your role on the New Zealand Green List?

Do you want to work in New Zealand? And are you wondering if you could get a job in New Zealand? Actually, there are many occupations where it is hard to find suitable New Zealanders to fill the roles. As a result, the New Zealand Green List has been created for roles where there is a shortage of qualified skilled workers in New Zealand.

These roles will have registration, qualification or experience requirements.

It may be easier to get an Accredited Employer Work Visa, if your occupation is on the Green List, as employers won’t need to provide proof of advertising for these occupations when submitting a job check application.

You may also have a either a Fast Track “Straight to Residence” pathway or a “Work to Residence” pathway depending on the role.

Don’t worry if your occupation does not appear on this list. There are still many other occupations where New Zealand employers need to recruit from overseas. We can help you understand your chances of getting a work visa, based on your qualifications, work experience and offer of employment. Depending on your circumstance, you may be eligible for an Accredited Employer Work Visa or a Skilled Migrant Resident Visa.
