Are your skills in demand?

Are your skills in demand to work in New Zealand?

Do you want to work in New Zealand? And are you wondering if you could get a job in New Zealand? Actually, there are many occupations where it is hard to find suitable New Zealanders to fill the roles. As a result, the New Zealand Skill Shortage List has been created for roles where there is a shortage of qualified skilled workers in New Zealand.

There are three lists: the Long Term, the Regional and the Construction and Infrastructure Skill Shortage List.

If you are a qualified worker from overseas in one of these occupations, you may be granted a visa to work in New Zealand. And the lists are reviewed regularly with occupations being added and removed to meet demand.

Don’t worry if your occupation does not appear on one of these lists. There are still many other occupations where New Zealand employers need to recruit from overseas. We can help you understand your chances of getting a work visa, based on your qualifications, work experience and offer of employment. Depending on your circumstance, you may be eligible for an Essential Skills Work Visa, Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa or Skilled Migrant Resident Visa.
