The New Zealand Government has extended the current suspension of offshore temporary visa processing until 6 February 2022.
This measure was originally introduced on 10 August 2020 to prevent people applying if they are currently unable to travel to New Zealand due to current border restrictions. People who meet the border exception criteria, such as the partners or New Zealand citizens, or who are in a quarantine-free travel zone are not affected by the suspension.
